About the Role 

We are recruiting driven professionals to join Sayari Earth’s Partnership Development Team to help build a nature-based carbon removals project in the Western Cape. This project partners with farmers and communities to enhance livestock production, soil health, livelihoods and the environment financed through the Carbon Markets.

Key Responsibilities 

Farmer Enrollment & Outreach

  • Lead or support outreach to landholders, farmers, and community members to explain the project, its benefits, and the project enrollment process.
  • Coordinate and document the formal enrollment of participants into the project.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with enrollment and FPIC protocols.

Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key local stakeholders including farmers, municipalities, community institutions, NGOs, cooperatives, farming associations and land-user groups.
  • Represent the project in community forums and local meetings.
  • Address concerns, questions, and suggestions from participants with professionalism and cultural sensitivity.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with science, rangeland management and impact monitoring teams.
  • Coordinate with other municipal teams and the Project Manager to ensure aligned messaging and operations.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and problem-solving across teams.

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English (verbal and written).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a background in agriculture or business development preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in stakeholder-facing roles.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively in rural municipalities.
  • Prior experience working with farmers is a strong advantage.
